Join us for an exciting Math Mayhem event on March 3rd from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, where families can enjoy a night filled with fun math games hosted by our amazing Grade 10-12 students! This is a fantastic opportunity to win awesome prizes while fostering a love for math in a lively atmosphere. We encourage families to participate together, as it’s guaranteed to be a blast for everyone! Please remember that an adult must accompany students and cannot be dropped off unattended at this event.

I forgot a name on the Valentine list!  I’m so sorry, Audrina!  I will add her name to the list and send home a new, updated list.  I will change the colour to purple so you will be able to tell the two lists apart.  I’m so sorry for the confusion.

February is a short but busy month.  Here are some upcoming events to mark in your calendar:

Monday, February 9 – Missions fundraiser hot lunch and Pay to Wear Casual ($5)

Thursday, February 12 – 100 Day and Valentines Day celebrations – Students may dress up as 100 year olds and may also bring Valentines for their classmates

Friday, February 13 – no school for students (Pro D Day)

Monday, February 16 – no school for students (Family Day)

Wednesday, February 25 – Pink Shirt Day

Tuesday, March 3 – Math Mayhem (6-8:30 pm)  – an evening of Math games and challenges hosted by our HRA high school math students.

On February 12, our class will be celebrating two special events: the 100th day of school and Valentine’s Day! A class list will be sent home for families who choose to exchange Valentine’s cards. Taking part is completely optional. If your child does decide to bring cards, please be sure there is one for each student in the class so that everyone feels included.
