Stranger Safety

Today in class, we talked about stranger safety. We discussed what it means to be safe around people we don’t know, how to recognize situations that might feel uncomfortable, and what to do if they ever feel unsure.

Please consider having a follow-up conversation at home with your child. You might ask questions like:

  • “What should you do if someone you don’t know asks you to go with them?”

  • “Who are safe adults you can ask for help?”

  • “What should you do if you ever feel scared or unsure?”

Thank you for supporting this important conversation!
