I want to wish all of you amazing, hard-working moms a very happy Mother’s Day weekend! Also a heads up that a small gift came home today. Many were transported sneakily in backpacks. You may want to check and make sure your child’s wasn’t forgotten there. It may not survive 😉
Enjoy the sunshine this weekend!
Bless you ❤️
Please note that our Spring Showcase concert will no longer be held in the afternoon. Instead it will be an evening performance beginning at 6:30 on Monday, May 29th. Doors will open at 6:00 pm. More details will follow. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Last week we learned a very big word…oviparous! It is what we call animals that lay eggs. We also got a surprise delivery. You may have already heard that we are now the proud owners of ten cute little caterpillars! We’ve named them Flappy, Floppy, Flitter, Glitter, Pom Pom, Buddy, Butter, Beautiful, Crawly, and Professor Bing Bong. It’s going to be fun to watch them grow and change in the days and weeks ahead. Feel free to come into the classroom and see them!
Today in your child’s folder you will find a reading log for the month of May. This sheet is to keep track of your child’s daily reading. Each time your child reads (or is read to) for 10 minutes they can colour in one of the pictures. At the end of the month your child can exchange their fully coloured (or nearly fully coloured) page for a prize! Happy reading!
