It was a good year of Kindergarten and I think we’re all ready for a rest and a fun summer holiday! I’ve loved teaching this group of kidlets and can’t wait to see where God leads each one as they grow and follow his leading. They worked hard this year and should probably give themselves one more pat on the back and say “good job, me!”
Here we are at the end of our Kindergarten year. I want to thank you for entrusting your child to me this year. I have grown to love each one and am bursting with pride at how much they’ve grown this year!
I am so sad to see them leave my class and will miss them so much next year so make sure you remind them to come and say hi!
Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will be cleaning out our lockers. If you can, send a plastic shopping bag along to hold your child’s pillow, gym shoes etc. I will also be sending home a bag filled with duotangs that contain your child Kindergarten work. Please plan to sit down with your child sometime in the next few days and look through these duotangs with them. I’m sure they will be proud to show you all of their hard work!
Wednesday will be our last day. In the morning the K-3 classes will participate in Fun Day stations. Your child can wear play clothes. In the afternoon we will open up the door between our class and Mrs. Larsson’s and will enjoy some special playtime in both rooms! We will dismiss at 2:55 for summer vacation!

Hello parents. We are putting together some SURPRISE videos for Kathy and Shelley’s retirements/last days at Highroad. If you don’t know them, they are two of our key office ladies we have been so blessed to have. Shelley is retiring and Kathy is moving up to Prince George where her and her husband bought at RV park. They are removed from this group and won’t see this, so don’t tell them. 
We will also be having a drive by parade which is currently planned for the 15th at the 3pm school pick up if you want to drop off a card or something then.
We are using a program that is super simple for our video! Click the link below if you are interested in joining and it will give you instructions on how to add your video. You could do either a little thank you clip, funny memory or something on your heart. Doesn’t need to be long, short and sweet is preferred! We are hoping to get this done by the end of next week.

This morning we completed the last page of our morning work duotang. We celebrated with a sweet treat!
We are counting down to the end of the year! Each day we will pop a balloon and enjoy a fun treat or activity. Today we had a “Go Noodle” party. We got to enjoy 10 instead of our usual 1 or 2.
