Today the children were introduced to the WITS program, a resource used at our school to deal with peer conflict.

We feel that it is important that children learn to advocate for themselves so that they can feel empowered in social situations.  We ask that children try to solve the problem by either walking away, ignoring, or talking it out.  This usually is all that is needed to resolve the issue.  If these tools don’t work, students can then seek help from an adult supervisor.  Feel free to check out www.witsprogram.ca for more information.
